Lenovo India has announced two interesting services for their customers. First, the PC Protection service that safeguards a PC from any unwanted mishaps during daytoday operations, and the second is a Data Recovery Service that helps to extract data from a faulty hard disk.

To avail of the Protection service, a consumer has to pay Rs. 2,052 per annum. The service insures the notebook against accidental drops, water spills, hardwarerelated issues, and so on. In the event of such a mishap happening, Lenovo will repair the notebook as quickly as possible so that the user will have to face minimum downtime.

On the other hand, the Data Recovery service comes to the rescue in case of a hard disk failure. This service will make sure that a user's daytoday PC operations are not hampered when the hard disk fails. Lenovo will instantly replace the hard disk with a new one so that the user can continue his work while the disk recovery center attempts to extract all the data from the crashed hard drive. This service will cost Rs. 1,200 per year.
